  • What Is Medication Management?

Medication management is a service provided by us, at Mountain Care Pharmacy, to help patients optimize their medication therapy. This service involves a comprehensive review of the patient’s medications, including prescription and non-prescription drugs, vitamins, and supplements, to ensure they are safe and effective for the patient’s medical condition. We also work with patients to address medication-related issues, such as side effects, drug interactions, or medication non-adherence.

Why Would I Need This Service?

The goal of medication management is to help patients achieve better health outcomes and improve their quality of life through the safe and effective use of their medications, all while minimizing the risk of adverse drug reactions or interactions. You no longer have to manage all your meds yourself. We will do it for you and provide your meds in a free disposable custom adherence package (i.e. Mediset-style cards) designed to make sure that all meds are taken exactly when they should be. This includes adding your supplements or any OTC meds that you may be taking, to your weekly pack.

How Much Does This Service Cost?

Our services have, and will remain completely free. The only cost to you is the copay or the cost of the medications. The cost should be the same or cheaper than what your current pharmacy is already charging.
